POSITION SUMMARY:

The Junior Program Analyst is in charge of Program Controls who is a team player that welcomes the challenge of managing the program controls of a fast-paced dynamic government program of a multi-faceted contract.

Duties: 

JOB DUTIES:

Prepare, analyze, reconcile and clearly communicate project status to the Program as required and needed.

Provide support to the accounting and finance team for budget drills associated with the Program lifecycle.

Coordinate documentation required for regulatory agency audits.

Assist the Program with short and long-range forecasting including life cycle model development, revision, and reporting.

Assist the Program with Configuration Management practices which will include but not be limited to, coordinating revisions and baselining of Program guidance, coordinating distribution of Program guidance.

Assist the Program with ad hoc cartography utilizing an advanced GIS system.

Assist the Program in coordinating the reception, organization and analysis of data from installed sites.

Manage the on-site multi-member contract team. 

Lead the DOE National Laboratories equipment inventory specialists on monthly tasks.

Support training activities to the DOE, National Laboratories and other Program contractors, including but not limited to, utilization of the Program lifecycle, inventory reporting and related systems such as word processing and spreadsheet application software.

Training services will include but not be limited to, curriculum development, manuals and course materials, attendance control, scheduling, and desktop publishing. Position may require travel to domestic and international locations.   

Audit all calculations performed prior to submission to the government Program.

Prepare ad hoc reports for management use in making strategic decisions

Qualifications: 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in respective field with one to three years experience or equivalent work experience.  Experience in governmental accounting a plus.   Some knowledge of GIS concepts and software preferred.   Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, especially Excel and Access.  Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.  Must be able to work independently and with minimal direction and supervision. Possess extreme confidentiality and professionalism and able to prioritize, monitor and work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
